Hunters may shoot turkey during four seasons in Missouri. There is a spring turkey season and a fall turkey season, with limitations on firearms and archery.

Spring turkey season is mid-April through the first of May.
Season limit: 2 male turkeys or turkeys with visible beard (Only one may be taken in the first week. During the second and third weeks, one may be taken per day for a total of 2 birds for the season.)
The youth turkey season spring hunt is typically the second weekend in April (for ages 6 through 15.)
(Note: Youths who take a turkey during the youth season may not harvest a second bird until April 26, 2011. This is because the bird taken during the youth season counts as the first bird for the first week of the regular season.)
