Deer and Turkey Hunting

If you're looking for a quality Turkey Hunt, look no further!  Our experienced, friendly guides can take you on an exciting hunt.  Located in northern Missouri, we have rolling hills, bottom fields and timber ridges.  This terrain offers prime habitat for Eastern Gobblers! 

Don't forget...we offer airport pick-up!  We have a small local airport in Chillicothe, MO and we are only 1.5 hours from Kansas City International Airport.  We are always more than happy to assist with motel reservations.  We offer lunch on Saturday and Sunday, and dinner Wednesday through Saturday.  We can also accommodate groups for hunting and sporting clays.   Give us a call at 660-745-3030 to book your hunt!

 

Turkey Hunt Rules and Regulations

 Turkey Hunts

  • State Limits and Regulations Apply

  • Bow or Shotgun Only

  • 2-Day Hunt $800.00

  • 4-Day Hunt $1350.00

  • $100.00 Shoot Fee will be assessed per bird that is fired upon

  • Includes: Guide (1 on 1), Lodging, Meals, and Bird Cleaning and Packaging

  • Advance Reservations Required

  • Additional fees: Resident or Non-resident license.

Additional services are available:  Taxidermy and airport pickup

Shoot Fee: $100 shooting fee will be assessed for each bird that is shot at, killed, crippled or missed.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy:   All hunts require 30% deposit within 10 days of booking. Another 30% is due 60 days prior to hunt, balance is due upon arrival, cash or money order only .  Deposits may be made with credit card; however, a 3% additional charge will apply.   Deposit checks should be made payable to Pin Oak Hill.  No deposits will be refunded for cancellations beyond the control of Pin Oak Hill Game Management Area, Inc.

WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS

 Archery Hunts

  • 5-Day Early Season Archery Hunt: $2150 (Sept. 15 - Oct. 22, 2007)

  • 5-Day Rut Hunt:  $2550  (Oct. 23 - Nov. 9, 2007)

  • 5-Day Late Season Archery Hunt:  $2150 (Dec. 3, 2006 - Jan. 15, 2007)

  • Hunts Include:  Lodging, Meals and Field Dressing of Deer

  • Hunts are Semi-Guided - Additional fee of $150 per day for a fully guided hunt

  • Fines--see details below

  • All Missouri Dept. of Conservation and Pin Oak Hill Rules Apply

  • Unlimited Doe Deer may be harvested.  (see specifics below).

  • Any buck harvested that scores less than 140" B&C will be assessed a $1500 fine                      (NO EXCEPTIONS)

  • Doe deer may be harvested at no extra charge - with adequate MDC tags.

Additional Services: Meat processing, Taxidermy, and airport pickup.

All archery hunts will be out of ladder stands, hanging stands or ground blinds.   State type of stands preferred. Safety harness required.

Rifle Hunts

  • 5-Day Rifle Hunt: $3250 (Nov. 10 - Nov. 14, 2007--wk 1)

  • 5-Day Rut Hunt:  $3250  (Nov. 16 - Nov. 20, 2007--wk 2)

  • Hunts Include:  Lodging, Meals and Field Dressing of Deer

  • Hunts are Semi-Guided

  • Unlimited Doe Deer may be harvested at no extra cost - with adequate MDC tags.

  • Additional Fees: Resident and non-resident license.

  • Additional fees: $150 per day for a fully guided hunt

  • Additional Services: Meat processing, Taxidermy, and airport pickup.

  • Any buck harvested that scores less than 140" B&C, will be assessed a $1500 fine (NO Exceptions)

 

Black Powder Hunts

  • 5-Day Hunt: $2750 (Nov. 23 - Nov. 27, 2007)

  • 5-Day Hunt:  $2750  (Nov. 28 - Dec. 2, 2007)

  • Hunts Include:  Lodging, Meals and Field Dressing of Deer

  • Hunts are Semi-Guided

  • Additional $150 per day for a fully guided hunt

  • All Missouri Dept. of Conservation and Pin Oak Hill Rules Apply

  • Any buck harvested that scores less than 140" B&C, will be assessed a $1500 fine (NO exceptions)

  • Additional Services: Meat processing, taxidermy, and airport pickup

  • Additional Fees: Resident and Non-resident license

Pin Oak Management Rules:  A $1500 fine will be assessed for any Buck taken that is under 140 in. green score.  (Hunters must sign consent acknowledging an understanding and agreeing to this rule.)  Hunters can shoot as many doe deer as they have adequate permits for free of charge!
